About Rotate PDF

Rotate PDF turns the pages of a document the right way up. It is made for scans that came out sideways, phone photos saved upside down, and files where only a few pages are off. Open a PDF, see every page as a thumbnail, and rotate them one by one with the arrows on each page. You can also select several pages and rotate them together by 90° left or right, or rotate the whole document in one click. The preview updates immediately, so you can check each page before saving. Your file never leaves your device: the work happens in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark. Rotation is saved as a page setting, so text stays sharp and searchable and the file size barely changes.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. Open a PDF to see its page thumbnails.
  2. Click the rotate arrows on a page, or select pages and choose a direction in the side panel.
  3. Download the rotated PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Click pages to deselect the ones you want to keep as they are, or use the arrows on a single page, and only those pages are turned.

Can I rotate all pages at once?

Yes. Every page starts selected, so Left 90° and Right 90° turn the whole document.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Pages are not re-rendered or recompressed, only their orientation changes.

Can I also reorder or delete pages?

Use Organize PDF to rearrange and remove pages as well as rotate them.
